Firefighters Fashion Show and Lunch for ALS on October 30, 2010

I am so excited to have been asked to photograph this wonderful event.  ALS hits home to me and my family as we have a friend currently living with ALS and anything I can do to aide in research and awareness, I am all for it.  When Diane Price, the amazing woman heading this event, asked me to photograph this event, I didn't hesitate and was so happy I was available.

This event will take place at Oakwood Country Club, located at 24218 S. Oakwood Blvd., Sun Lakes, AZ 85248 (FYI-Sun Lakes shows up as Chandler on GPS systems), phone number 480-895-7275.

Ticket sales will be at Oakwood Country Club in the foyer of the Ballroom.
October 30, 2010 ~ $40 per ticket (lunch and a day full of fun) ~ Banana Republic will supply clothes to be modeled by Sun Lakes Firefighters, I have heard rumors that there is going to be some exciting surprises happening during this event, you won't want to miss!!

There will also be a silent auction taking place throughout the day with a lot of great items.  One item up for grabs is a photo session with yours truly, Photography by Jenn Wilson!!! :)

The following is a portion of a message sent from Kenneth M. Brissa, President & CEO of the Arizona Chapter for ALS....

"We are thrilled to introduce Firefighters Fashion Show and Lunch for ALS, an event hosted by Diane Price benefiting The ALS Association Arizona Chapter. The event will take place on Saturday, October 30th at the
Oakwood Country Club at 10:30 AM.

All proceeds from this event will be devoted to local research to find the cause and a cure for Lou Gehrig’s disease, help provide the needed equipment for patients in Arizona and to support the families whose loved ones have been diagnosed with ALS. You will be amazed by the professionalism of the event and the meaningfulness of our purpose."

I strongly encourage anyone who can, to come out and enjoy a day full of information, fun, and an immense amount of gratitude for your generosity.  If you can't make it, please visit this link www.alsa.org , donate if you can, or just spend a little time learning that there are people out there suffering from this disease and what it does to peoples lives.

I hope to see you there, and if you can't make it, check back here a few days after this event, as I will post a sneek peek for you all to see!!!!
